Q: What types of refunds are possible?
a) LATE DELIVERIES - package missed guaranteed delivery date and are eligible for a GSR (Guaranteed Service Refund)
b) NON-DELIVERIES - package that missed its guaranteed delivery date but has not delivered yet.
c) NON-SHIPMENTS - package entered into the carrier system and billed, but never shipped.
d) DUPLICATE CHARGES - packages billed more than once
e) INCORRECT ADDRESS CORRECTION CHARGES - carrier fees for an address correction that you had correct on the original manifest
Q: What type of transactions can Refund Retriever detect and help fix?
a) THIRD PARTY BILLING on your account - we can provide a list of any packages not originating at our clients address or ending at our clients address.
b) GROSS OVERCHARGES on weekly invoices - we can provide our clients with a list of packages over a certain dollar amount that are more than likely mistakes.
c) RATE VARIANCES - Shipping discount levels and tier rates, like credit card percentage rates, differ from the advertised rate. We give you the actual discount rate of your packages once accessorial charges; ex: Residential Adjustments, Dimensional Weight, Address Corrections, Delivery Area Surcharges, fuel Surcharge etc. are added on. Like the APR that is printed on the back of a credit card offer.
Here is a small example. Lets say you send a package to New York City today for delivery by noon tomorrow, but this package arrives at 12:05, five minutes late!! You are entitled to a full refund for the shipping charges associated with that package. But does the carrier call you to inform you of their tardiness and hand over your cash? NO WAY!! We watch ALL of your packages, when that package is late we contact the carrier and have the charges taken off your unpaid invoice or have the credit applied to a future invoice.

We get the $40 removed from your invoice or a check is sent to you!!We also can alert you of any package that doesn't originate or end at your physical address. We also can provide you a list of packages that seem like they are grossly overcharged, you can review these packages to be sure they are all correct if you would like.
